Height at the back 76 cm (30"), arm to arm 66 cm (26"), front to back 71 cm (28"), seat height 41 cm (16"), seat depth 48 cm(19").

Ole Wanscher was a Danish furniture designer born in 1903. He was know to be one of the greatest Scandinavian designers from the 20th century.

He studied at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and in 1958, the Danish newspaper Politiken wrote:

'Owning a Wanscher-chair is an adventure every day, and will be so even several hundred years from now, for this is how long it lasts'
