Description
Nance Workshop Shelves
I am not sure how to describe this quirky piece of furniture. the Victorians would have call it a wot not but this is not Victorian.
Made in St Ives by Nance Workshops who made quality furniture from the 1930's to the early 1970's when they closed.
This shelf unit/bookcase has an Arts & Crats feel about it. Solid mahogany planks, this would have cost a fortune when it was originally made.
This shelving stand has been sanded and oiled which has brought out the beautiful grain in the mahogany.
Measures 35.5" (90cm) wide, 14" (36cm) deep, 30" (76cm) high, highest shelf is 25.25" (64cm) and there is a distance of 7.25" (8.5cm) between the shelves.
Sorry this is now sold.
