Large London Underground fabric table stool
This large table stool stands on beech square tapering legs and is upholstered in Kirkby Design’s Underground fabric, taken from the London Transport Museum’s archive to be re-worked into a collection of contemporary viscose velvets. The moquette design featured on this table stool was created by the prolific Architect and Designer Misha Black in the 1970s. It was first introduced on the London Underground’s District line and fast became a subconscious icon of the city. This table stool is available to order, made to size and six colours available in the District collection.
